Graffiti
In times of civil unrest and in areas where poverty is most prevalent, graffiti, urban artwork appears without warning or regard. From a random person's expression of "I was here", to warnings like "Jakarta is coming", to street artwork that later goes on to become famous around the world, graffiti is interesting and can tell stories that conventional artwork doesn't.
